Sea Turtles are my spirit animal and one of my favorite paint subjects. Sea turtles are among Earth’s most majestic creatures. They symbolize peace, longevity, wisdom, and the mystical.

Owls are royalty of the skies. My second most painted subject after sea turtles. I also feel a kinship with these graceful raptors. There are a couple Great Horned Owls that live across from my house and I can hear them “hoot” at night…if I’m lucky.
I own chickens and find roosters to be inspiring as well. Birds of many kinds find their way onto my easel.

Many of my miniature paintings are approximately 4 in. x 4 in. All works in this section are 6 in. x 9 in. or smaller. Small works fit just about anywhere—desk, bookshelf, counter, nightstand, etc. These works are intended to be affordable pieces of original artwork on any budget.
